I have been living in a fool's paradise all my life. In this illusory state of well being, life is picture perfect. It is like day-dreaming. For others it may be a waste of time, for me its a space I always want to be in, revisiting whenever I can. And there is strong reason behind it. I have heard people mostly speaking about how things that they want or wish for doesn't just happen. There are failures and depression due to this. In contrast, I have always felt that even the thoughts that occurred to me sometime, vaguely, actually happened to me in due course. And its about all the good, best of people and things, those I merely wished that it would be a pleasure to have this around me. I would have been clueless, that something I just liked for a flick of a second and found it beautiful then, may be years back, it took its time and made a place in my life.
Over all these years, I just feel blessed. A positivity is encompassing me all the time, as if the universe wants to fulfill all my desires. It is working for me, to fetch the best things for me. If there occurs something that doesn't look like a good happening at the moment, it later turns out to be a pre-work for greater understanding of life and abundance of joy. Earlier I thought that its just a chance, but with repetition of this pattern, I feel differently. As I was sharing this with one of my close friends, I was convinced when 'she' said that we attract the same kind of energies that we subconsciously think about. If you are a positive being, with an undying spirit, you will experience the same kind of people and opportunities around you, getting attached to you. If you always think negatively, may be you have sub-consciously trained your mind to only see the negative patterns, the people who think alike surround you and the pattern becomes so strong that the same pattern of bad luck happens to you every time . If that's the case, you got to slowly be conscious about it, realize it and break it. Or you may miss the best of opportunities just by your fear of failure.
In high school, we read somewhere, "Success is sweeter to those who never succeed! " And its relateable to a mass of people on the globe.
While writing this piece, I was thinking about my kids. My daughter who is now 5 years old, is a born princess, who even dreams about being a princess. She imagines and often gets clad in a beautiful gown, and she believes that she is holding a magical wand with the cutest of powers. She will live her days in role-playing and I bet she has the best day when I allow her to stay dressed up as one of her favorite Disney princess. That's what keeps her happy. And my other one, my 8 years old son is a hyper-active artist, one who just cant walk or sit straight ever, not even for a micro-second, because he is always dancing on his own music! So both of these amazing naughty kids, and probably most of the other kids too should be an inspiration to the grown ups. They are the happiest or saddest for the immediate reasons. They live in the present. Their dreams are all they need to be immensely happy. And if you tread over those innocent dreams, it makes them sad. They forget to eat and do the daily chores when they are playing. It is because they are so immersed in what they are doing. Its the most important thing to cater at the moment for them. But when an adult day-dreams, it is said to be a wastage of time. Why so? We must allow ourselves to be in that happy space, everyday for atleast a while. ( Related link: Songs of your Soul💗 )
It's beautiful to be what you want, to have what you like, and it attracts similar things for you even in real life. It may never happen that a person never had a problem or difficult situation in life, but what weightage she gave to it, matters alot. Likewise, none in the world may really say that they never had a joyous moment in life, but it really matters if due weightage was given and effort was made to rejoice that moment. One cant let go the responsibilities of the real world, and will anyhow do it. And living in a fool's paradise doesn't mean that you ignore problems or don't face them skillfully. But it rather looks better to only treat them as something that has 'come' and will eventually "go", without having to break me! If you are able to do your daily chores with a peaceful and happy state of mind, at the end of the day, it doesn't make you tensed. It relieves you for the day, and showers a bliss to start another day with a flexible pace and effortless joy.

The only idiom that I find a little supporting of my views is by Sir Winston Churchill, quoted, "The greatest lesson in life is to know that even fools are right sometimes."
